NCM:

N: Nikel

C: Cobalt

M: Manganese

 

LFP:

 

L: Lithium

F: Iron

P: Phosphate

 

But NCM still has Lithium. Don't get confused! Both are a type of Lithium ion Batteries.

 

Also here are the usual NMC composition ratio depending on Type of NMC.

When you look at the types of NMC, it says (1:1:1), (4:3:3) and so on. it indicates the rato of N and M and C in order. For example, when you look at the first NMC(1:1:1), you can tell N and M and C portions are about 20%. Please see below.

And when you look at the (8:1:1), and you can tell N(Nikel)'s portion is 8 times of other M and C.

However, you can tell Litium and Oxygen are fixed. So I am suggesting to buy company caring Nikel and Lithium.
